At Velmont & Co, we are committed to delivering your order safely, reliably, and with full transparency. This Shipping Policy outlines how we process, dispatch, and deliver your purchases.

1. Product Origin and Dispatch

All Velmont & Co products are imported and shipped directly from our international partners to your registered delivery address. Logistics are managed by established international courier and postal services, ensuring your order is fully trackable from dispatch to delivery.

2. Order Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–5 business days after payment confirmation. During peak seasons or high-demand periods, processing may take slightly longer. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation via email containing your tracking details.

3. Estimated Delivery Times

The following are estimated delivery timeframes after the dispatch date:

  • Portugal (Mainland): 8–15 business days
  • European Union: 10–20 business days
  • Europe (outside the EU): 12–25 business days
  • Other international destinations: 15–30 business days

These are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to customs inspections, weather conditions, carrier delays, or other factors beyond our control. Velmont & Co cannot guarantee a specific delivery date.

In accordance with the European Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU), all orders will be delivered within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the order confirmation date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Order Tracking

Every order includes a tracking number sent via email. Please allow up to 10 business days after dispatch for tracking information to become active in the system, as updates may only appear once the package arrives in the destination country.

You can monitor your shipment using the tracking tool available on our website. An initial status of "Item not found" is normal during the early stages of transit and does not indicate any issue with your order.

5. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

Within the European Union:
Orders shipped within the EU are not subject to customs duties or import taxes.

Outside the European Union:
Orders destined for non-EU countries may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and other local fees imposed by the destination country's authorities. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the customer's sole responsibility. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before placing an order.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth delivery, customers are responsible for:

  • Providing a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout
  • Providing a valid tax identification number (NIF or local equivalent) where required for customs clearance
  • Actively monitoring the shipment status using the provided tracking number
  • Being available to receive the package or collecting it from the designated postal facility within the carrier's stated deadline

If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery, the carrier will typically make up to three delivery attempts. Failure to collect the package from the designated facility within 10 days of the first notification may result in the package being returned to the sender.

7. Delivery Address

The accuracy of the delivery address is the customer's sole responsibility. Please review your details carefully before completing your order.

Delivery addresses cannot be changed once the order has been dispatched. If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, re-shipping costs will be charged to the customer. This applies even to orders that originally qualified for free shipping.

8. Returned or Undelivered Packages

If a package is returned to the sender due to any of the following reasons, re-shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility:

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address
  • Failure to collect the package within the carrier's deadline
  • Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts

Velmont & Co does not assume responsibility for losses resulting from a failure to monitor tracking status or an inaccurate delivery address provided by the customer.

9. Lost or Significantly Delayed Packages

If your order has not arrived within the maximum estimated delivery timeframe or appears to be lost in transit, please contact our support team at support@velmontrossi.com. We will investigate with the carrier and work to resolve the issue as promptly as possible, which may include a replacement or refund in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

10. Split Shipments

If your order contains multiple items, they may be shipped separately to ensure faster delivery. In such cases, you will receive individual tracking numbers for each shipment.
